the last HAC..

kinda sad..
cz itz the last Hari Anugerah Cemerlang for me
and joe, amanda, zhi wei, daniel and josh..

but this year is/was great!!
i got to perform infront of the Sultan of Kedah..
mwahahaha..
as opposed to last year when he cudnt make it
and sent his henchman tunku bendahara..

lemme explain..
HAC in badlishah is split into 2 days..
the 1st day, the Sultan gives the prizes
the 2nd day, some VIP/geek gives the prizes

the 1st day,the performance is for the jamuan when the
Sultan is eating..
the 2nd day, the performance is for the intervals during the prize giving so
that the ppl wont be bored to death..

follow me so far?
good..

i tink the whole sch will agree with me if i say
there has NEVER been a performance..
and there will NEVER be a performance so geng as this year..
lol..
ok la..im boasting a bit la..
but aku bangga..
cz i was the one who arranged the scores..
yippee yiy yo..

the performances this year were
1. A japanese anime song which i do not knw, but had to improvise on the cello
while Sarafina played the piano..
2. Angklung
3. Instrumental - Sekapur Se-smth smth
4. Solo - You Raised Me Up
(5. Solo - Tale as old as time -> 2nd day only)
5. Rumah Kecil
6. Choir - Selamat Pergi Pahlawanku
- Colours of the Wind
- I believe
7. Finale..

the line up for the instrumentals and the 2 solos were as follows..
Amanda - 1st Violin
Joe Den - 2nd Violin
Marcus - one and only Cello XD
Zhi Wei - 1st Guitar
Daniel - 2nd Guitar
Joshua - Set Drums (1st day only)
Vivian - Pianist

here,i would like to say how impressed i am
that i had such a talented bunch of people to work with..
it was great working together with them..
and i will surely miss our practices together..

as much as i would love to post up the pictures
there are simply too many..
so i shall post them in my next post..
