Merdeka..

52 years ago,

we yelled our 1st Merdeka..

52 years down the road,

we've already yelled countless Merdekas..

yet,

are we truly set free?

society has yet to breakforth from its pre-Merdeka mindset..

im sure many of you will agree with me..

alot of pressing issues are at hand,

and here, we take some time to put that aside and celebrate our Merdeka..

some ppl are busy partying..

some ppl are busy commenting on Malaysia Today..

some ppl are busy reading those comments on Malaysia Today..

some ppl are busy with their own lives

some ppl are ready to party ALL NITE LONG..ALL NITE..

but in the midst of such bewilding chaos

some have chosen to set time aside to pray for their nation..

these nameless warriors are the ones truly concerned about their nation

these nameless warriors spend hours on their knees (collectively la XD)

praying that God will heal this land..

these are the true Patriots..

these are those who are there not to party, but to "parley"

(potc fans knw wad im talking about..)

so take a moment to think..

are u still stuck in the stone ages

making fun of each other..

or will we embrace 1Malaysia..

yes, the government's 1Malaysia is bullsh..bullcrap..

and yes, i almost typed out the real word..

but LET US make this our own

LET US make this our reality

LET US embrace 1Malaysia

LET US be the ones,

who bring the change to this nation..

Be you
Christians, Buddhists, Muslims, Hindus..

if ure heart is only for the welfare of your kind..

sorry, you are not Malaysian..

today,

let us rid ourselves of our anti-Malaysia syndrome

and let us bring change to this nation..

Lord,

change my heart to be more in love with Malaysia everyday

and not dwell on what she has to offer me

but what i have to offer Her!
